The brainchild of Vanshika Chawla, Brush Up is Makeup Art Standards Authority (MASA), London’s first international center founded in Gurgaon. The institute offers courses internationally accredited by MASA and approved by the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), UK. With its state of the art infrastructure, the institute intends for every student to master the art of makeup, as well as learn about the industry. The courses on offer are designed for both beginners and professionals. Following the ethos of MASA, students at Brush Up are provided with expert industry guidance, different makeup brands and tools to experiment with, that are truly international.
MASA’s philosophy is to help students become industry ready successful professionals. It is the driving force behind Brush Up. It aims to liberate one’s own imagination. The standard of education provided is very high and while being structured, a certain amount of flexibility is allowed in terms of creativity and aesthetics.
The curriculum of the courses has been designed keeping in mind the different experience levels of the students. Each course aims to help students develop a confident personality ready to take on the world with the best skill set. Classroom sessions are a blend of practice exercises, assignments, and theoretical lectures.
Our courses are taught by an in-house tutor and weekly guest freelance makeup artists. You will receive the support from a permanent professional makeup artist, who will help you grow, flourish, and push you further than you thought possible. The weekly guest freelancers teach master class workshops, providing you with the techniques that are being practiced in the industry right now. The insider tips, advice, and feedback you receive on your work is invaluable. MASA has found that this hybrid of industry training is the most beneficial to artists.
